Visionary architectural work of art
In the early 1960s, the Jesuit order decided to place the design of its monastery in the hands of the visionary architect Paul Schneider-Esleben. With the "Voices of Time" Jesuit monastery, he created probably the first valid work of structuralism in Germany. In the immediate vicinity of Nymphenburg Palace, an architectural work of art of enormous expressive power was created that provided a generous setting for spiritual aspirations and the fulfilment of secular everyday activities in equal measure. Even today, the building still impresses with the consistency of its design and visionary, spiritual power.
New perspectives
In 2006, a new soul with a fresh spirit was breathed into the architectural monument. The original space was expanded from 2,800 to 3,500 square metres for 14 individual apartments and a contemporary service and technology concept. The result: REDUKT. Maximising the reduction to the essentials. The combination of space and time. A powerful statement affirming residence and life - clad in luminous gold.
Visionary and spiritual power
REDUKT has its own way of keeping time. The powerful and independent architecture from 1963 still knows how to inspire six decades later - and arguably will still do so in 400 years from now. Time is stripped of all its fleeting superficiality. It takes on a pace of its own through the combination of surfaces, spaces, concrete and glass. The view and sensibility become free for the essentials.

A former chapel as a maisonette apartment? Library towers as a living experience over five storeys? The existing building with its reinforced concrete sculpture is being enhanced with new, loft-like buildings. Purist living spaces create a clear basic pattern that can be found in all surfaces and shapes. Parallelograms, angular structures - nothing superfluous, only well thought-out. Humans in harmony with the building. Nothing more - and most importantly nothing less.
Spacious terraces maximise the atmospheric living structure. It's also where true luxury is revealed: sunshine galore, in the morning in the east, in the evening in the west. Happy are those who are inspired by all things great and small.
